Key activities since last report

Business case refresh presented to SEP SAS Programme board

Revised business case was accepted with caveats about the potential for scope creep

Project manager handover from Jamie Thin to Chris Copner

Data from EUCLID has been loaded into InPlace DEV system for students, staff and students on programme

QA testing of this data load has started

Project team work to gather reference data and map processes for the pilot areas is in progress

Advert for new SWAY Work placement manager advertised

Next SWAY user group scheduled for 15-Aug 2019

Next SWAY project board meeting scheduled for 26-Aug 2019

Business case refresh to be approved by governance groups incl SWAY project board

SWAY Service Team recruitment to be approved , in line with approval of business case refresh

Completion of build of Pilot workflows and end-to-end pilot solution

Completion of integration testing of end-to-end solution by end of August 2019

Completion of user acceptance testing by users from pilot schools by mid-Sept 2019

 

Key activities / Milestones planned not delivered

July SWAY user group and July SWAY project board cancelled

Need to meet with Medical School to plan future roll-out – this task  pushed back while focus is on the pilots

 

Risks and Issues for Escalation

(ISSUE) SWAY central team need budget approval to recruit 1FTE temp resource for 12 months to backfill business leads to work with project team

(RISK)  School business users availability is limited  in July/ Aug / Sept  due to annual leave and start of Semester 1 

(RISK) Risk around lack of academic engagement & buy-in
