The University is procuring a Short Courses Platform (SCP). This platform will offer a digital education experience for learners on not-for-credit short courses, including online, blended and face-to-face delivery to promote lifelong learning.

A subset of this work is the development of branding, visual identity and content guidance for the new SCP. The new SCP will include a university-wide course catalogue and the introduction of a new Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). This project will include guidance for both the catalogue and VLE, which have differing capabilities and control for visual elements

The main outputs of the project are as follows:

1. Research and recommendations on the proposed URL of the Short Courses Platform with an ultimate project decision on which one will be taken forward.

2. Proposals for the platform’s course about page its layout and suggested content.

3. A brand and visual identity guide which includes elements such as the SCP brand colours.

4. A content guidance document for course organisers e.g., what information should be included in the 'course overview' section.
