The UniDesk Service is now in its fifth year of operation. In that time, more universities have chosen UniDesk and the service itself has grown in terms of additional modules (such as change&release and CMDB), functionality (such as self-service portal, card-reader) and reporting.
The project board have approved a review of the infrastructure, both to deal with some existing, persistent issues around performance and stability, and also with a regard to future growth and scaleability of the current set up.
