Edinburgh Napier University are joining the UniDesk service as members.

UniDesk is a shared service hosted by Edinburgh University providing a web-based service management tool for the Education sector.  It is provideded as a SaaS offering and is currently used by 5 other Universities across the UK. It acknowledges industry best practice and is based on TOPdesk Enterprise with Shibboleth authentication.

Outwith this project - the current live software is being upgraded to the latest version - from v5.4.1 to v5.7.1 - there is a dependency on v5.7.1 being installed and stable in Edinburgh production before creating the Edinburgh Napier environments.
