UniDesk is a shared service hosted by Edinburgh University providing a web-based service management tool for the Higher and Further Education sectors.  It is provided as a SaaS services hosted at University of Edinburgh. The UniDesk Service  is used by 10 Universities across the UK  and University of Malta. UniDesk implements industry best practices for ITIL and is based on TOPdesk Enterprise with Single Sign On (SSO) authentication for each member.

The agreement with TOPdesk for UniDesk expires in 2020 and all members must be migrated to the  new UniDesk Service by December 2020.

The project is to coordinate the migration of the UniDesk  Service from UoE infrastructure to TOPdesk's SAAS platform (migrate all 11 members).
