Q2 18/19

Report Date
February 2019

This project is expected to gather some momentum over the coming months now that there is increased capacity in SRS to work on it. Working in partnership with Procurement (Finance) and Estates, the aims for the next quarter are:

  • To develop a more systematic menu for suppliers.
  • To identify possible barriers to implementation (e.g. with additional demands on Estates procurement and project managers also coming via introduction of T46).
  • To develop evaluation framework to capture delivery of benefits.

SRS is also, together with Estates, supporting the delivery of a community benefit project that SRS and Estates are co-funding with Balfour Beatty. This is the 2-year DEC! programme and is for the benefit of Castlebrae high school in Edinburgh. This project has been useful already in terms of identifying what makes a 'good' community benefit activity.
