- Edinburgh Local website is doing really well: We have over doubled our visits from the last quarter, taking us from 0.01% to 0.02% of the total visits to the University website!
- Overwhelmingly high percentage of people searching for University Space/Venue hire on the website
- Social media also doing really well – engagement levels are rising every month, we’re increasing our number of tweets, and gaining around 50 new followers a month.
- Newsletter still has a good open rate of 52% (better than average) but this is down on last quarter. Need to focus on how to increase distribution, but we have some events coming up which will help, and some plans forming for engagement activities later in the summer.
Workshop took place in mid-March 2018 to identify strategies for Edinburgh Local external audience expansion. Main outcome of this was to free up some of Communications Coordinator's time by moderating newsletter frequency and increasing outreach-type activities (e.g. stands in shopping centres).
