The University would like staff and students to be able to see each other's photos for their relevant programme /courses / tutorials etc. This would enable students to easily recognise their teaching staff and staff to recognise the students expected in their lessons/tutorials.  

The aim of this project is to enable: 

1. Staff to opt in/ opt out of card photo being made visible (behind EASE authentication) to Staff and Students. The minimum period which will be given to opt out is 4 weeks. This information will be maintained on a real-time basis.
2. Students to see staff card photos of those staff who they have an association with in the Personal Tutor system i.e. Senior Tutors, Personal Tutors, and SSOs.
3. Students to opt in/ opt out of card photo being made visible (behind EASE authentication) to other Students. The minimum period which will be given to opt out is 4 weeks. This information will be maintained on a real-time basis.
4. Students to see photos of other students on their programme/course (via EASE authentication) through self service.
5. Staff to see staff/student photos of those staff/students who they have an association with e.g. personal Tutors groups etc (dependency on SSG007 - ESS Small Group Functions - not in scope)
6. Students to see photos of other students who they have an association with e.g. personal Tutors groups etc (dependency on SSG007 - ESS Small Group Functions - not in scope)
7. Students/Staff photos to be printed with the intention for them to be displayed in a university public place e.g. notice board in a School

Following discussion with SSIG Board, it was agreed that this Project would be closed following production of the Project Brief. No further deliverables (analysis, build, etc.) were completed and the budget was transferred as per the Issue/ Change log. The Completion Report provides a summary.
