Overview
Background
Information for staff and students relating to centrally bookable rooms is currently held on the EBIS system and is proxied through to a polopoly page on the university website:
http://www.ed.ac.uk/schools-departments/registry/timetabling/bookable-rooms
This information includes room location, capacity, AV facilities and a single photograph for each room.
This project will replace the current bookable rooms website so that it may be maintained in line with the golden copy of room data, and provide user experience enhancements.
Scope, Objectives and Deliverables
The project will deliver:
D1. A replacement bookable rooms website which is maintained in line with golden copy room data.
D2. Changes to the golden copy data necessary to complete D1
D3. Definition and documentation of the processes necessary to populate and support the replacement site.
D4. Mechanism to display the replacement site through the existing Timetabling Unit page.

B1. Availability of current data on each of the rooms available for booking across the university's estate.
B2. Improved visiblity of the estate of rooms available for booking, helping drive improved room utilisation.
B3. Improvements to the user experience.
Success Criteria
Delivery of an easy to use website providing detail on the bookable rooms available across the Edinburgh of University estate which can be updated from golden copy room data.
