Communications and Marketing (CAM) would like work on their applications, which they originally requested to be done via support. Instead we would like to do a small project that would be primarily development. This will largely gather improvement requests that have been submitted via unidesk or jira and combine these into several small development phases. Phase 1 is split because some of the requests are more urgent than others, and so the aim is to resolve and deploy as many of these as possible before starting on the next group of calls. The project will be suspended in between phases if no work is agreed to be undertaken immediately.
This project will benefit the University by making small changes to the UG and PG applications, which will:
Benefit prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students by making information more directly relevant to their search, and improving usability to enable them to find what is needed more efficiently, presenting an enhanced professional image of the University,
Reduce CAM administration time by several days, through providing enhancements to the annual rollover functionality, improved searching to enable quicker editing of specific programme records, and automatic synchronisation of members of a communcation group email.
