Impact and Dependencies

  • Provision of analytic data must not impact on the performance of the Moodle environment
  • The systems are not collecting any new data that is not already collected in the Moodle logs so should not pose any additional load on the system
  • TEL019 will share a steering group with TEL017 because of the similarities in the outcomes of the project

 

Project Risks

  • Low uptake and engagement of the tools from course organisers, tutors & students
  • The existing tools available in Moodle may not provide sufficient functionality
  • Demand for analytic functionality outside of project scope
  • Limited analytic evidence may affect the evaluation of the approaches taken
  • Loss of resource or changes to resource that may affect the delivery of the project
