Work/Task Breakdown

 

The implementation work - technical and configuration, testing and UAT, infrastructure and load and capacity checking  - will be done by the project team member denoted as Implementation Team. These are LTW, Apps and Top Hat. The delivery of the system to staff and students - training, support documentation, perhaps UAT, communcations - will need the Implementation Team members to be assisted by the Delivery Team.

Team building, planning, project brief, any R&D, and estimations

R&D to check for difficulties and re-estimation, and then development of SSO R&D to check for difficulties and re-estimation, and then development of Learn Integration Configuration of Top Hat in a DEV (preferably) Environment Build and testing of SSO and Learn Integrations a DEV (preferably) Environment Configuration of Top Hat in a TEST Environment - early access for staff

User Acceptance Testing in TEST QA of SSO and Integration in TEST Load Testing in TEST Develop support materials, based on Top Hat documentation Set up training int the new system, working with iSkills

Communication to colleges from Central - throughout project Communcation to students and staff in Colleges via representatives - throughout project Preparing for launch with HelpDesk

Decommission of old Clickers System Resources Skills and Cost

30 days effort for Applications :- Project Management 15 days Single Sign-On Integration 5 days Learn Integration 5 days Production Support handover 5 days
