Pebblepad is an externally hosted ePortfolio tool which the software vendor will be upgrading from version 3 to version 5. As this is hosted service Pebblepad Learning will be undertaking all of the work to update to new version. 

The PebblePad system integrations with the following University systems: 

• Student enrolments via EUCLID/ IDMS. 

• Link to application from MyEd. 

• Learn Building LTI 

• Moodle LTI 

• Authentication (Shibboleth) 

It is anticipated that none of these integrations will be affected by the upgrade to version 5 as the upgrade will not change any of the underlying database structure.  The upgrade consists of front end improvements to enhance the User Experience and additional features which will not impact integrations delivered with version 3.   

Training guides and resources in PebblePad may require to be adapted to he new version. Pebblepad local managers and those course tutors acting as local administrators/managers if their workspaces will require guidance with the new interface of Pebble+ since ATLAS interface will remain the same.  Additionally local managers and administrators are expected to engage in the planning for  the launch of version 5. in order to empower final users and decentralise the service
