This project will deliver the bi-annual upgrade of blogs.ed.ac.uk, which will move the University to the latest supported version of Wordpress (at the time of DEV installation).    Blogs.ed.ac.uk is the University’s centrally supported academic blogging system based on the Wordpress content management system. This platform allows staff and research postgraduates to create blogs for a number of purposes, for example a personal professional blog; or School/departmental/other group blog, as well as blogs for teaching and learning, or assessment purposes.    Delivering this project will ensure that blogs.ed.ac.uk will remain on a supported version of Wordpress in line with supported software releases. It will also deliver new functionality available in the latest version of Wordpress which will provide an enhanced user experience for staff.
