Impact

Priority and Funding

  • Normal priority.
  • Funding for the procurement was approved by Gavin McLaclan and Jo Craiglee on the 27th of November.  The project will be funded from LTW core funds other than the prospective 20 IS Application days which are expected to be funded from IS Apps Core Funds.

Impact and Dependencies

  • Enhancing the E-Assessment (E-Exams) capability of the university can have a large impact on the academic and student experience.  Particularly as the way the university teaches and assesses evolves through outcomes of the pandemic and the natural evolution of digital education.
  • There is a University review into online assessment underway at the time of our planning phase.  We have project board members who are part of both groups.

Lessons learned from previous projects

  • The team are experienced in procurement projects with all core members having been part of procurement previously.
  • As part of this project involves working with MVM to ensure their individual requirements are acknowledged as part of this procurement, we have stakeholders who were part of their previous procurement and current managers of their service.
