The Learn Service support team are exploring options to integrate aspects of Zoom into Learn VLE. The team are working closely with the Learn Foundations project team to ensure that the user experience of multiple virtual classroom options is optimised. Reports on progress will be provided to Director LTW and ISG SLT.
To integrate Zoom with Learn requires the installation of an app called LTI Pro. To complete this some alterations are required to the original implementation of Zoom. They are.
- A Zoom Test environment needs to be created.
- Changes to the Zoom Single Sign On implementation are required to bring it into line with other major systems (including Learn).
Once those tasks are completed the LTI Pro app can be tested and implemented.
The integration will be available for the 21/22 academic year.
