Priority and Funding

• This is a 200d 2 year core funded compliance project in the current plan, with normal priority.

• Funding is split between the two years at 75d for 2021/22 and 125d for 2022/23 

Impact and Dependencies

Impact 

• All staff and students who use PebblePad, Learn and Moodle. All of these systems have some unresolved issues  with the data being pushed from upstream systems. These issues might include missing data and/or inefficient feed processing. 

Dependencies  

• Dependencies on EUCLID, VRS and IDM 

• Dependency on VRS redevelopment project (particularly for issues seen in PebblePad ) - close liaison will be required 

• Also may have some dependency on the GDPR compliance project (TEL077) and current data retention work which has been ongoing:  data retention processes for Learn have already been developed  

• Keep semester dates in mind for any data feed work. 

• Upgrades to Learn over the next few years mean that Learn Building Blocks will no longer work by end of 2023.  We currently use a building block as part of the timetable feed for group creation but this may be deprecated. 

• TImetabling system replacement and new IDAM service coming in the future.
