Impact
Priority and Funding
This project is classified as Normal priority according to the initiation documentation. This is not expected to be modified, but it is important that the plan is adhered to so that the project team are given the best chance to meet the initial deployment window in the summer break.
It is a core-funded project.
Impact and Dependencies
- A deployment window has been identified at the end of the Summer term, 2022; the project team will attempt to adhere to this
- The go-live date will be negotiated with the user community: user community work patterns must be taken into consideration
Lessons learned from previous projects
There has only been one previous project concerned strictly with the MyEd/Collaborate channel (TEL032) and this was used to set up the initial version of the channel. This has not had any subsequent modifications or upgrades, but other channels have - most recently through project DTI044 - UCP uPortal5, Content Migration and UI Redesign. The closure report for the latter project has a variety of lessons learned.
