Resources, Skills and Costs
The project is estimated to need 81 days effort (see link below). This figure is an estimate based on previous work of this type, but the project team have recognised that there may be a possibility of the eventual work being more complex. A second estimation will take place after the initial analysis and design.
This estimate covers work from Software Development, Development Technology, Applications Management and Project Services. The colleagues in the project team have experience of working on past projects of this type and have the requisite experience and skills. We are also working closely with colleagues in the DLAM team and the Portal Services team in our LTW division. This should ensure a highly experienced group contributing to the project.
Project Governance
The project will follow the standard governance and quality control as used by Project Services and Applications. This covers Apps Review and monthly reporting.
The project will be monitored against the work/task breakdown with wider reporting by exception.
The Project Manager will monitor:
- Progress in relation to the project plan and budget
- Review any emerging issues
- Review the project risk register
