Access to Turnitin for both staff and students is handled via Blackboard B2 integration (Blackboard Basic 2.8.13) in Learn and with a smaller user base accessing via Moodle (Moodle Direct 2.5). Updates to these integrations are managed by Digital Learning Applications and Media (DLAM) team within ISG’s Learning Teaching and Web division. Blackboard Learn as a product is undergoing a transition away from the Original (Blackboard Learn 9.1) user experience into Ultra courses. Turnitin B2 integration is not functional within Blackboard Learn Ultra courses. Turnitin have notified the University of their intention to cease supporting the B2 integration from August 2022, transitioning support to their LTI 1.3 integration.
