During extended implementation (STU228) several change based interfaces were introduced to provide Timetabling with Course, Programme, Student, Student Course Enrolment, Staff and Organisational Units.  While these interfaces have been in operation several issues have arisen both from the design of the change based interface and from the provider of information (EUCLID and IDM).

The agreement from the deployment review was that the Recovery Team (headed by Stefan Kaempf) would recover the live service to a point of re-introducing the interfaces in their current configuration with a commitment from the Timetabling Programme to refine the interfaces to reduce the load the on Live service for 2014/15.

The scope of the project is to:

  1. Reduce the amount of audit produced during the change based calculations in SATSTAGE
  2. Refine the student feed to only return current students with their affiliation to School based on programme of study
  3. Refine the staff feed to only return current members of staff with only their primary affiliation being returned
  4. Add the student's programme of study to the student feed
  5. Add credit information into the Programme of Study feed (dependant on complexity)
  6. Review the set up of SPDA to ensure no contention between the existing 2 interface
