The managePrint service was created as part of another innovation project. It was clear during the project, that this service had the ability to provide front facing support staff with time saving, service improving features but, they were not within the scope of that project.
This project will develop and implement these features including making the service mobile friendly, adding the ability to monitor and manage print queues/jobs/devices at a front desk/user level, allowing the support effort to shift left, becoming cheaper and more time efficient.
We would also like to enhance the everyonePrint service by adding the ability to self register email addresses using the managePrint service. This links in with LMP006 project to give visitors to the University Library an enhanced service.
