  • Consolidated findings from meetings with suppliers and customers into an interim report.
  • This achieves the deliverable for the first phase of the project

Issues

  • It is not clear if there is a benefit in progressing to the second phase of the project, the building of a prototype chatbot system. The scale of this would be extremely small based on the budget available. Additionally the resources required to build and run a system that delivered any business benefit is probably beyond what can be done under this project. In order to develop something useful we would need to identify a self contained area that generated a significant volume of very straight forward queries. I have not found a subject area within my own section that lends itself to this work. I am currently discussing with Barry Croucher if there is anything on the library side which suits.

Targets next period

  • Review current support services to establish if there is a roll for a small scale prototype system.
  • Decide if the second phase of the project should be run
