Background
On the 25th of April, Blackboard Ally was launched for the wider University as part of the Learn Ultra project. From this date, all new course instances will include the Anthology Ally tool.
Ally helps to check for common accessibility issues in documents and provides reporting on the accessibility of course content. Also, Ally helps to provide alternative document formats for learners to meet their needs and to provide the format the student is looking for.
This project covers the soft and hard launch of Ally, including system configuration and user acceptance testing; testing with early adopters; creation of communications; the organisation of awareness sessions with Schools and Deaneries; reporting; briefing of Unidesk.
