Overview

A way forward has been identified re the IoT infrastructure requirements to be provided by EIDF, as well as temporary and permanent elements to be provided by ISG.

We are remain in planning mode, although some prototyping, design and testing work has been carried out in parallel.   Technical architecture discussions with the EIDF team have informed our planning decisions and the project brief is underway.

RAG status.

Although there has been a delay, taken in the context of the significant impact from Covid-19 on DDI the UoE, and the CRD schools that will be the first users of the new version of the service, any delay to this project will be minor and not a cause for concern in itself.

Next steps:

Complete the project brief, technical designs, and plan.
