The project aims to:

1. Reduce time &resource to deploy new releases of uPortal software to live environment, by establishing a continuous integration and deployment environment for MyEd builds:

·         New releases of uPortal software can be easily merged with local customisations

·         Automated build and testing are applied to merged code

·         Including testing of integrations with test instances of co-dependent services

·         Automated deployment through the various staging environments to live

2. Apply this solution to upgrading MyEd on a more frequent basis, staying in line with most recent “solid” release of uPortal
