This initiative is in progress, and is based on a 4-year strategy approved by the ITC.
Benefits are:
· Reduce user confusion/dissatisfaction and the support load
· Establishing a default medium for personalised communications-to and interactions-with students.
The project aims to give users an integrated experience of logging-in to the University website, on any device, and seeing personalised view of all key University information, communications and tools. Provides an integrated user experience for user’s / the University’s top tasks.
Deliverables:
· Improved mobile interface to MyEd, including more mobile-friendly channels and greater integration with device capabilities.
· Closer integration with the University’s forthcoming Drupal-based website
· Consistent and richer inline interactions with the highest priority channels, such as matriculation, courses and programmes, finance, library
