Project Board
Scope and Remit
The initial scope for the project board is the procurement of the publishing platform and will need to be reviewed once this is completed. Subsequent project phases include setting up the platform infrastructure and publishing system, building an MVP (minimal viable product) to replace the current EdWeb CMS and migrating existing EdWeb sites to the new CMS.
The project board remit is to:
- Agree and approve the project objectives, scope, tolerances and milestones
- Be accountable for the success or failure of the project in terms of business, user and supplier interests
- Help resolve any major issues or risks escalated by or to the Project Board
- Provide unified direction and effective decision making to the project
- Support the communication plan
- Ensure that time and resources to support the project are available from board members or their representatives
- Have input to and sign off the project closure and lessons learned reports
