A review of work has lessened the expected effort to complete the project.
A re-plan is underway and whilst early milestones have not been achieved, there is optimism that work can be completed in line with the original project end dates.
Issues:
The project has slipped markedly when it comes to accurate milestone reporting.
There remains contention between Service Management resource undertaking Service Management activities and those separate tasks expected to be covered under the time-lines of the project. As part of the re-plan, work will be re-prioritised to fit more closely to the availability of diaries.
There has been some miscommunication across project resource which will be addressed going forward with more regular meetings.
Next Steps:
A revised plan will be issued by the 6th March.
Resource will be sought to undertake testing of the re-tuned mailboxes and mail-flow for security.
Implementation of tightened access controls on Office 365 admin accounts.
