• Finding an appropriate date for an outage to move BI Explorer to a 2nd virtual machine has been problematic, trying to avoid critical points in the academic year.
• The project will be extended into 14/15 to allow for the BI Explorer move to be undertaken as part of the project, funding and approval need to be sought.

• Secure funding and approval to extend into 2014/15
• Deploy fix for UNX Universes to live and deploy Audit universe
• Move BI Explorer onto a 2nd machine on Live
• Close the project

Achievements in Last Period

• Phase 2 UAT commenced on 2nd June
• Phase 2 Inbound Implementation / rollout plan review and updated
• Phase 2 Change Control and Service Alerts have been set up with communications being issued out by Service Management
• Phase 2 Load Testing completed and raised no cause for concern
• Phase 3A resource requests for early design to commence in July.
• Phase 3A placeholder dates approved by WIS with old Phase 3 and 4 withdrawn

Issues

• Review of Grouper requirements have highlighted the infrastructure this should be deployed to, is on new VM, effort to be assessed by Dev Tech resource in discussion with Tech Management
• Due to a delay to deploy Phase 2 to IDM test and availability of developer resource during UAT the project team have reviewed ASOR, Deploy and DSOR milestone dates for Phase 2 and new dates have been agreed. The project requires to be implemented by the latest date of w/c 14th July so as not to impact lead up to year end change freeze dates on IDM. Our deployment coincides with ITS103 deployment over same period. There have been a number of discussions to ensure both projects are not at risk from each other activities. Also Essential Core Maintenance taking place prior to these deployments on 15th July. Production Management have put in place a number of checks to ensure environments are back in place before any of our activity begins on 16th July.
• Database Migration dates to be agreed on review of remaining budget.
• Phase 3A BRD has been issued out for review/approval no new requirements have been included following Grouper workshop on the 25th June, only stipulation is that the project upgrade is to the latest version of Grouper to ensure benefits of the functionality are available. BRD sign off to be confirmed by Service Management.
• Additional 8 days requested/ approved by WIS  to cover A) Phase 2 delivery additional days required to cover :2 days for resolution of DEV SOA issues  and 1 day reqork for JIRAS B) Phase 3A early design work additional days required: 3 days for R & D work for Pull web Services due to 11g composite different to 10g, this is required before SDS can be started. This was reviewed and agreed by Business Lead, Senior Supplier and project team as required task for the project. and 2 days for peer rework activity not included in estimate. Increase resulting in current budget of 593 days increasing to 601 days.

• main problem is IDM TEST is not functioning so project budget now being used to fix IDM TEST Notifications so the project can complete the fixes
• conflict with other projects

• Was unable to secure resource for development until week beginning 7 July. This means the delivery date will be pushed out to 2 September causing a 9.5 day carry over into 2014/15. Project sponsor has agreed this carry over with programme manager (2/07/14).

ECA have confirmed that they cannot commit to the second phase of the WEB002 project.  The second phase was originally planned to implement cosign and ldap integration for the new ECA drupal website. As a result, the project will be withdrawn from the 13/1/4 CMW programme.

Note that the phase 1 delivery of the basic drupal website for ECA will continue as a Service Management (RDS) task.
