Commentary

Programme status: The overall status of the STU programme for August 2025 is AMBER due to the RED status of the Student Counselling project and the programme does not have a confirmed budget for 25/26.

Achievements this Period

Finalised the organisational hierarchy changes
Set the Review to Live - went out in Welcome Email from Schools between 19th-21st August

Issues

There was an oversight by the SharePoint Technical Lead / Service Owner who did not activate the SharePoint Student Groups for permission/access to students on the day the MTP Review went live - 19th August. There were multiple issues raised on the 19th August on access issues by students and logged into a Problem Log - P2508-019. This log noted a resolution by the SharePoint Lead in the late morning of 20th August. For more details please review the issue link below.

There was also an issue with the SharePoint dashboard which required additional effort to correct. This issue was the way completed surveys were displayed on the dashboard as both some schools were not visible and the real submitted number of Reviews was not shown. The Development Lead was able to resolve these issues, but an additional 1 day was used.
There were issues with the cron job which runs the automatic updates for newly provisioned accounts for students and includes them in the MTP SharePoint site. The issue was logged here: I250812-4117. The cron was working fine when triggered manually, but there was an issue with the mtpapi which was resolved within 3 days of discovery.
- This issue created an extra 2 days effort to the project for resolution and may impact our final closing budget.
