Achievements this period

• Fortnightly team meetings continuing
• Closure report shared with outgoing Programme Manager, Senior Supplier and Project Sponsor
• Budget confirmed for next project with budget holder
• Developer has now left the University of Edinburgh, this project will close with a new project to start.

Issues

• The Project is extended to complete this phase of work. The milestones and budget need to be confirmed.
• Production resource is limited. Releases will need to planned around this - John Allison taking up with Production
• Budget was confirmed to the end of March - needs to be adjusted taking the extension into account

Next steps

• Close Project, start new Project for 24/25
• Update documentation for handover
• Ongoing Amnesties DB work

 ISG Services for EFI Launch - Phase 2 (HSS045)

Achievements this period

• Desk booking pilot continuing under TTU031 Booker project
• Final support agreement meeting scheduled
• Innovation centres operating model discussions supporting including service design options
• Final changes made to project control sheet ahead of the support agreement meeting

Issues

• ITI CIS VisitEd feedback/communication needed for tenants
• Milestones change drafted for sponsor approval
• Scheduling of remaining WAPs installation to be confirmed by BBK/AtkinsRealis
• No confirmed date from ITI CIS yet for the switch replacement for the resilient link - milestone currently agreed as late November

Next Steps

• VisitEd feedback/comms from ITI CIS
• DDI Requirements sign-off to be confirmed as completed by Shared Membership group
• Complete final update on the project's control sheet for support arrangements for each space in EFI
• Continue with Eventmap pilot
• Replace switch and test resilient link

OCS Upgrade (HSS046)

Achievements this period

• Project brief approved 4 Sep 24

Issues

While PM was on annual leave 3 tasks were to be completed

• Meeting arranged for 13 Sep to agree server design and agent service names (Supplier, Production and Dev Services)
• Supplier and Production to have agreed Vendor access method
• Servers ordered and initial work begun

The meeting of 13 Sept did not happen as the Supplier could not make it. We therefore still have to agree the server design, agent names and vendor access. The supplier has been asked to supply dates as to when they can attend a meeting and we will work round those dates.

However, the completion date for the Test server is 30 September 24 and this will not be met. New dates are not yet available until we know when the supplier will engage. Because of this the project will be Amber with regards to time.

Next Steps

• Rearrange meeting with vendor to get agreements on design, agents and vendor access
• Test servers to be set up
• OCS upgraded on Test

Commentary:  Project is AMBER.

Description: A meeting was arranged during PM leave for 13 Se 24 for vendor to discuss and agree server design and agent service names with Dev Services and Production. A vendor access method was also to be agreed with Production. The meeting did not happen as vendor could not make it.

Impact: Impacts the date for the Test server to be completed as we cannot move forward without vendor input

Plan: Vendor has been asked for dates as to when he can make a meeting. Timelines will be extended
