Bayes Innovation Team has supported on 2 large scale bids / projects (5 Create consortia involving more than 16 entities and 3 schools within college; 'ORCA II' which has involved 2 schools within CSE and a partnership with Heriot Watt. There are presently 4 accounts where an IAA is being pursued in order to grow the client relationship (in breadth and impact) and we have recently accepted the opportunity to sit on the decision making group for that funding allocation. Moreover, efforts to leverage the Bayes Research Group for specific opportunities to build internal academic consortia for opportunities by providing visibility at an earlier stage and securing clarity of interest at a school rather than individual level has already resulted in 2 opportunities being taken forward. There is a desire from BIG and BIT to invite academics via BRG to similarly advance opportunities for BDE support so that it becomes a two way model for engagement.  Whilst the target is to collaborate on 2 the goal is very much to win 2 within this academic year. Note the win rate for large bids is challenging and so it is anticipated that 4-5 may need to be completed in order to secure this result.
