Overview

Delivery of a virtual tour solution for SRA that provides, through an interactive map containing information hotspots and rich media assets, a space and place representation of the University and its environs. This will be a key tool at a time when physical visits are not possible and likely to be constrained for some time.

Next Delivery Milestone:  RV Release V2 Application to UoE for Review - 07-Oct-2020

 

RAG Commentary

  • The milestones for the Project have been reviewed both with the Project Sponsor and Third Party Developer (Revolution Viewing - RV) and have been provisionally agreed 
  • Launch of the website is now planned for 26-Oct-2020
  • The project is now in the first phase of quality control / review having received the latest Design Demo (V1)
  • An accessibility assessment has taken place and actions are underway by RV to address points raised (these are expected back in the next release V2)
  • The Project Team are continue to work to populate site content and a set of comms are planned to Schools in support of this
  • The first of the illustrative maps, that form the centre point of this application, has been provided to RV for inclusion in the V2 release
