Articles for BSHS Viewpoint submitted.

Work continues for the exhibition – focus on Lyell’s published books and articles as well as his inspiration and contemporaries. This has revealed some library cataloguing errors and conservation concerns. These have been raised with Conservation, and will be a priority for the incoming Conservator.

Work has also been undertaken to support The Talbot Rice Gallery’s exhibition, ‘The Recent’ leading to a list of potential loans being sent to them for action.

Volunteer activity was the subject of a short presentation to the ‘Open Research’ conference, coordinated by Neil Coleman, UOE’s Citizen Science Officer.

Work to construct the website continues – with cataloguing feeding into the structure to accurately represent Lyell’s tools.
