Issues
There is an issue that the interim solution go-live will be delayed from the original date of end of March due to the following reasons:
Defects identified during software testing of the interim solution.
It has taken significantly longer to create and copy the large data set element of the test data than expected. There are still some unknowns relating to the software testing fixes and on-going results, which make it difficult to identify a specific date for completing and subsequent interim solution go-live. The end of April has been identified a achievable date for this and the Research Data Management steering group have been advised.
Testing of the user documentation has also been delayed due to the issues above.
The tight time-scale to get the interim solution in particular in place, has meant the an initial plan and work for this has been on-going in lieu of the project being fully established and without a completed and signed off project brief and full project schedule etc.

There is no milestone log for this yet, but the only key milestone so far is : Interim solution stage complete by end of April.
Note re budgets: This project has a mix of capital and revenue budgets, and core funding on this project. The revenue budget is a fixed cost for RSS effort and the other teams are core funded, so there is not effort tracking against budget on this project.
