• Achievements this period:
  • Requirements document complete, reviewed and issued.
  • List of software components added to Jira and grouped.
  • Top level delivery project plan created.
  • Identification of additional features captured. 
• Issues
  • Current Bagit library has many snags that need resolving, may need to look for a more established library.
  • There are 37 software issues that need resolving before deployment of the 'must haves' code.
  • SSL bug between archive and worker means that the users credentials can not be verified.
• Risks - Full Service Solution:

  • Need to write up the HLD and the LLD for the project.

  • We need the EDINA resource available to the project to continue the coding tasks.

  • The current software build needs to be reviewed for quality an unknown bugs.

  • Limitations in library files may determine maximum data length.

  • Next Steps
    • Update the project brief with new requirements and review with Tony Wier.
    • Review current code of software build.
    • Review status of DataVault against COTs and doing nothing and provide a set of risks and bebefits for each.

Note re budgets:   This project has a mix of capital and revenue budgets, and core funding on this project.  The revenue budget is a fixed cost for RSS effort and the other teams are core funded, so there is not effort tracking against budget on this project.
