The current eTime system provides the time recording and approval functionality required by both Research staff involved in any of FP7 (Framework 7), H2020, and Research Council funded projects, and Guaranteed Hours (GH) staff.

Acceptance Test Strategy

  • Testing will take place in the testers’ regular work locations.
  • UAT will take place on <<<dates-to-be-confirmed>>>
  • Testing participants will not require training, as they are all already familiar with the eTime system.
  • Test scripts/cases and scenarios will be prepared by the Business Lead and Senior User prior to the start of UAT, and supplied to the Project Manager, for inclusion in the User Acceptance Test Plan.
  • Test participants will conduct the tests and document their results.

Acceptance Testing and Training

User Acceptance testing and and training required will be carried out by the Payroll & Pensions department.

Acceptance Test Strategy

After speaking with Service Management, it was decided that data could be migrated across but would require time from either the Service Management team or from a developer. The data could also be moved manually by staff in Project Services however this might be difficult and time consuming considering the volume of documents and information on the current Wiki site.
