This is a 2021, possibly 2022, project with a considerable AV budget. The requirement is a flexible space but it’s not clear what they mean by that. We need to design the power and data requirements which is difficult without clear teaching practice guidance. As discussions continue with the EFI users, it is looking like the base power and data allowed for is not enough or not located in the right position to meet their requirements. The project has stated that there is no more financial resource to add any more P&D. The Events Space is still under discussion. It was also being used as a teaching space, but it is now looking like it is too small to be of use for TTU. There was a £2m budget for the AV spaces, excluding the Events Space. It's not clear if that is still the case.
