The Enterprise APIs Programme is delivering an easy-to-use API framework that enables software developers across the University to build flexible user-facing systems quickly, securely, and at lower cost.  The delivery of APIs is supporting improved working across functional areas, and will allow corporate data to be used more effectively, and by different applications across the University.

The API framework aligns with and supports work on the wider integration strategy led by the Core Systems Programme, in particular the integration of business processes that rely on multiple IT systems.

The Enterprise APIs Programme has so far delivered a number of products in order to support the delivery of APIs.  Work on maturing the framework (technology, infrastructure and service) is required.  This project will add to the maturity of the API technology and will help deliver the following benefits:
