Achievements Last Period

  • Previously it had been agreed that effort would be moved from this project to support EST123, this decision was reversed on the 10th of June.
  • Effort since the 10th June has been dedicated to supporting the writing of the business case and cost model. This will be used in the the application for funding for a new CAFM solution. 

 

Issues / Outstanding

  • Request made to Estates to progress this project at risk, pending funding approval. This is to mitigate the risk in 2023-2024 of the existing CAFM solution operating at risk during the EOL phase out period.
  • Access to Estates staff remains challenging.
  • Concern around Procurement staff availability, the resource that has supported the project may be diverted to other works if funding is delayed or the project is not permitted to proceed at risk. EST128 has had two procurement officers to date and there is a risk of loss of tacit knowledge if there is a lack of continuity.

  • Submission of the business case for funding approval.
  • Establish if the project may proceed at risk.
