Aim:
Recruit an Online Learning Engagement Specialist (contract for 6 months) to:
- significantly enhance ISG support for digital skills training for staff and students (campus and distance) through a campus-wide subscription to Lynda.com.
- work with trainers in the Digital Skills and Training team to develop approaches to using Lynda.com videos and playlists to support courses and L&D. This may also involve working with service owners of Learn, MyEd and Moodle.
- work outside IS with L&D professionals in HR and IAD.
- liaise with academic course leaders, learning & teaching deans and EUSA to discover how Lynda resources can best be promoted to students.
Success criteria:
- Lynda resources embedded in 20% of courses.
- User guides and good practice in place.
- Evaluation and tracking usage reports.
