Background

 

This project is a follow on from LUC072, where the Digital Library servers were upgraded from Centos 7 to Rocky 8. This project will focus on the remaining tasks to bring the L&UC server estate up to date and includes tasks such as:

Scope

- all servers that don't need to be on a public IP range will be moved to the private VLAN

- all websites to go through the load balancer and https

- puppetisation of servers

- password manager clean up

- tracking application up to date

- ensure all servers have zabbix agent, appear in VSphere and monthly restarts

- Analytics & Monitoring per URL 

 

 

 

 

Objectives and Deliverables.

 

This is an Agile project and as such resources will work through the backlog defined in Jira
