This project seeks to analyse the requirements for automation of  the payment calculations for maternity, paternity and adoption pay, surrogacy and shared parental leave.  (Hereafter referred to as parental payments) These payments are currently calculated manually.

The project aims to utilise existing functionality within the Oracle Human Resources system, configuring where necessary.

The reporting requirements for parental payments will be included in the analysis.

As there is significant overlap with the university's requirement to collect similar data for Athena Swan submissions, the analysis of the requirements for collection of Athena Swan data will be included in this project.

A  recommendation on whether to undertake  one implementation project or two separate implementation projects to deliver these requirements will be delivered by this project.
