Planning Review for DTI039 - Define Integrated Identities Requirements
Project DTI039 in progress to define Integrated Identities requirements
Information Services have been working to deliver an integrated identity management system. In response to students’ demand of a more personalised university experience, there is a survey underway to identify issues and merits of the current approach to managing affiliates data.
The survey was commenced after members of the university who were both student and staff – and therefore had multiple UUN – voiced their dissatisfaction on how the university managed identities. As a result, the requirements gathering has successfully identified two deliverables that could be a direct result of the project’s completion:
- An options appraisal
- A decision on how to take integrated identities forward.
An additional Survey is now underway to assess the impact from support and administration
Following this, there will be a further project to implement the requirements and bring both students and staff are closer to experiencing an integrated identity management system.
