Current Business Processes

Descriptions

There are many processes that run from the portal, mostly in relation to project assessment and feedback work for ECA students.  The 3 sections of the portal will be migration E - Extra Stuff (mostly static content), C - Course (what has become the Learning Management System) and A - Access to  Information (again mostly static content).

There are multple user guides on the portal itself under C then Course Documents, this project will not be re-documenting the processes as the infrastructure move should not affect any of the processes, merely move the portal in its entirity to IS Apps Support Architecture.

The only change planned for the portal is to change the method in which EUCLID data is fed to the portal, currently this is using an FTP site as an itermediary given that the eportal server was previously hosted outside of edlan, with the new portal being hosted within edlan then a more direct method of consuming data can be implemented.
