Priority and Funding

• This is a Compliance project
• Core funded - 3 Year Planning estimated this project as 50 days, following review of work project is estimated at 70 days. Additional days are available within the Programme which were aligned to IS Apps support for REF activity therefore this can be aligned to this project.
• This is a key project within the RIS programme and should be considered a 'High' priority project to meet mock REF expected summer 2018,  a further project will be started in March 2018 to upgrade Pure to the next 3 upgrade versions (5.10 to 5.12).

Impact and Dependencies

• Compliance Maintaining vendor support for a central system, as well as receiving new features in support of funder and government requirements, such as the new REF return.
• RES069 PURE upgrade to new Project Model
• Typically an upgrade will have limited impact on the users. For new features, consultation will be required with Research Administrators, Researchers, Directors of Research, Library Services and Governance and Strategic Planning (GASP).
