Work/Task Breakdown
SAC066 is primarily an investigative project with the possibililty of some development (although this is currently thought unlikely). The immediate issue is to ensure that a recoding exercise is done for all programmes advertised via UCAS in time for these to be manually input to the UCAS Course Collection System. If the Tribal solution for conversion is available in early 2018 and if it is proved that the current JACS codes and the new HECoS codes can co-exist in EUCLID and deliver the correct output for statutory and internal reporting over time then the conversion of the codes in EUCLID can be actioned in late 2018 but under a separate project. The ATAS work for admissions must be completed by January 2019 and the full conversion of JACS to HECoS codes must be available by late July 2019 if it has not been actioned before (again under a separate project).
Resources, Skills and Costs
Teams potentially include Student Systems, SSP, GaSP, Schools, Colleges, SRA, Admissions Offices, Student Administration and Dev Tech/Apps Management for deployment resources.
The project cannot be estimated with accuracy as the full requirements are unknown. An analysis is required by SSP staff to determine the full set of systems effected. It is only at that point that project phases and tasks can be defined and resource requirements estimated. Re-estimation will be carried out accordingly.
The IS budget has been set at 15 days .

- Priorities of the programme are set by the Student Systems Board
- SSP Management Team meets weekly to review the priorities of projects across the programme, look at resource priorities, risks and issues
