Schools, Deaneries and Colleges have long requested a CMS to record engagement with students. A consistent method of recording interactions with students will enable better support to be provided to students, improving the student experience. A comprehensive view of engagement data will be available to aid insights into student engagement, informing future student support. The institutional risk of missing opportunities to support students who need it will be reduced by having a comprehensive and consistent method of recording interactions.

Summary position

Extend the rollout of the new Student CMS from Residence Life and Student Wellbeing Service to all Schools and Deaneries. The CMS will enable interactions with students to be recorded in a robust, consistent manner, replacing the numerous Sharepoint, email, spreadsheet and email processes that are used across the University. Appropriate information will be able to be shared to enable timely proactive and reactive actions to support students.
