Achievements in Last Period

• It was discovered that in order to complete the project that two additional works were identified:

  • Change to Assumed Complete process: when a non-PGR student enters Interrupted Assumed complete status then their HESA Engagement is ended.  The Assumed Complete process enters HESA End Date and Reason values to SCJ.  The process currently overwrites any existing value.  Conditionality is needed to only populate the Assumed Complete data if the fields do not already contain a value
  • HESA Module Instance Data: issues were encountered in the production of Module Instance data due to Tribal software changes and there were ongoing discussions with HESA, Tribal and SFC resulting in a late decision on how to progress with generating the data.  There is now a requirement for the SSP Development Team to assist in the generation of missing data for the module instance and source records in order for UoE to produce a module instance dataset.  Jira(s) will be added for this - but there will not be a deployment in the same way.  The expectation is that the dev work will produce scripts which will be used to generate .csv import files for direct update via SITS client
• The project was agreed to be extended to allow development and delivery of these two additional works post the change freeze (ending 29th September) and delivery / closure milestones are updated accordingly
•  It is also noted that the latest date for GASP is the end of October, which was also accounted for on updating the amending the milestones below

Next Steps​

• Look to complete the development and delivery of the change to the assumed complete process and module instance data as outlined above
• Establish next steps and continue to monitor if anything is still required for the 24/25 Return (nothing is expected)
• Engage with Sponsor, Programme Manger and Key Project Stakeholders to agree 24/25 Return Project Closure / ascertain what is required for the 25/26 Return
